Flood and Swiftwater Operations
This class does not require advanced
swimming or boat handling skills. Learn how to read the river for
hazards, self-rescue techniques, wading rescues and tethered boat based
rescues.

Flood and Swiftwater Technician
Spend two days on whitewater rivers, learning self-rescue, wading
rescue, tethered boat rescue, swimming rescues. Strenuous physical
exertion can be expected. Basic River Rescue (Awareness and Operations)
is a pre-requisite. 1000 ft. open
water swimming required
Swiftwater Technician is offered
only at White Bear Rescue Training Center.
